A Night at the Races

This year, We will hold our 27th Annual Spring Fling on Saturday, February 5, 2011 in celebration of Catholic Schools Week.
Plan to join us on Saturday, February 5th at The Brazos Center for "A Night At The Racetrack," this year's annual fund raiser for St. Joseph Catholic School. Every year, we provide an opportunity to have fun, recruit new families to our school, and raise money to provide scholarships and cover costs not accounted for by tuition (provides 75% of students' costs annually). We had so much fun last year at The Races, we're continuing the theme with "A Night at the Racetrack," complete with dinner by Christopher's World Grille, dancing, games, live music by the Texas Twisters, live and silent auction, raffle drawings, and yes, horse races!

Become a horse owner; pick your horse's name and tag line (i.e. Hugs the rail, looking for a shortcut), jockey's name, and your name will be announced at post time, in the program, and on the scoreboard - all for $100. There will be prizes for the winning horses. Contact Mary Helen Morrow at mhmorrow@windstream.net to register. In addition, there will be 'live' faculty races that evening - sponsor your favorite teacher to participate in this fun event!
